Core Courses:
Accounting and Payroll Diploma program provide students with foundation and advance knowledge of the Accounting and Payroll. Comprehensive designed of the program enables students to learn step by step. Graduates are needed to preparing Financial Statements, Bookkeeping, Budgeting, Preparing Payroll, Opening New Business, Filing tax and HST to Canada Revenue Agency.
This program is approved as a vocational program under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005.
Admission Requirement:
- 12 OSSD/High School Graduate or Mature Student Status (18 years of age)
- Successful completion of entrance test
- Admissions interview

Introduction to Accounting: Included accounting terminology, rules of debt and credit and presentation formats for various financial statements.
Financial Accounting 50 : It will include different organization as sole proprietorship, partnerships and corporation. Capital assists and amortization, analysis of business transaction, and accrual and cash basis accounting
Financial Accounting 100: Accounting information system, basic auditing, internal control managing cash and making ethical judgement
Financial Accounting 101: Accounting equation and preparation of financial statements, merchandising operation, and bank reconciliation
Financial Accounting 102: Prepaid and Accrual, account payable and receivable, intangible and capital assists and amortization.
MA 101: System design, cost classification, cost behaviour analysis and use, budgeting
Fundamental of Taxation 101: Personal taxation, computation of net income, refundable and non-refundable tax credits, capital gain
Payroll Management 101: Accounting for payroll, payroll deduction, remitting source deductions, termination and commission payments, employer payroll cost, employee fringe benefits, complete a record of employment.
Software Application: Application of accounting software (Quick books and Sage 50), preparing financial statements, creating receipt and purchase orders, bank reconciliation, finance charges, account payable and account receivable
Employment Strategies: Personality development and job search. Preparation of resume and interview
